I get excited by technological innovations rooted in fundamental scientific breakthroughs. These are the kinds that expand our capabilities as a species and create meaningful, non-incremental, lasting impact.

I write about deep-tech, artificial intelligence, physics, and philosophy. I recently completed a series about the similarities and differences between human intelligence and AI, appropriately titled The Nature of Intelligence in Man and Machine. More about me: I studied theoretical physics once-upon-a-time, after which I spent a few years working at the Boston Consulting Group, where I specialized in helping our clients develop their go-to-market strategy. I left BCG to return to school, ostensibly for an MBA degree at Wharton, but I spent much of my time exploring a range of interests across computer science, math, psychology, and cognitive science at UPenn's graduate departments. My proclivity for the sciences kept calling my name despite having firmly entrenched myself in the business world by now. This led me to join Millennium New Horizons, a VC firm investing in deep-tech startups that are pushing the frontiers of innovation.

I'm a deep-tech investor writing about deep-tech (surprise surprise), AI, startups, physics, philosophy, and other things that are generally fun to think about.
